My Ph.D. develops the notion of sustainable alliance portfolios which include both inter-firm and cross-sector alliance and partnerships with the objective of contributing to social and environmental sustainability. I specifically study how these sustainable alliance portfolios are configured and how they develop in the context of energy and utility sectors, in the UK and Europe. I study the configuration and development of sustainable alliance portfolios with a lens of organizational cognition, or so-called value-frames and evaluate how organizations with different value frames show differences in their partnering patterns.
During my Ph.D., I also had an opportunity to study the development of environmental capabilities and competencies through an integrated perspective of knowledge management, absorptive capacity, and inter-organizational learning.
My research interests include partnerships for sustainability and circular economy, sustainable technologies and sustainability-oriented innovations, environmental performance measurement and reporting, corporate sustainability and sustainability issues in SMEs. I also have a great interest in sustainability-oriented entrepreneurship and development of entrepreneurship competences.
