Cellular therapy is a growing area with great promise in treating many devastating diseases. I'm interested in exploring new ways to produce useful cells that can be used to improve patient outcomes. My PhD research is in developing blood cell production platforms for therapeutic applications. We're combining stem cell biology, targeted genetic engineering, and industrial biotechnology looking for new disruptive methods to produce novel medicines. This project is a collaboration between the School of Medical Sciences, Cancer Research UK, and Biotechnology Engineering.
