Arkadiusz Wiśniowski joined Social Statistics Department as a Lecturer in August 2015. He is also a co-lead of the Statistical Modelling Research Group at the Cathie Marsh Institute. In 1st Semester 2020/21 he is Department Postgraduate Director. In 2017-2019 he was Department Undergraduate Teaching Director. 

Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow at the ESRC Centre for Population Change and Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (University of Southampton), Researcher at the Central European Forum for Migration and Population Research (Polish Academy of Sciences and International Organisation for Migration) and Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Applied Econometrics (Warsaw School of Economics).
