Miss Alexanderina Vanke
Overview
Alexandrina Vanke is a PhD researcher at the Department of Sociology at the University of Manchester. She is currently writing her PhD thesis 'Working-Class Life and Struggle in Post-Soviet Russia' under the supervision of Prof Hilary Pilkington and Dr Wendy Bottero. Her doctoral project deals with everyday practices of Russian workers and their ways of overcoming difficulties.
