I am an epidemiologist at the Centre for Epidemiology Versus Arthritis (formerly Arthritis Research UK Centre for Epidemiology). My research involves working on various biologics registers; the British Society for Rheumatology Biologics Register for Rheumatoid Arthritis (BSRBR-RA), and 2 paediatric biologic registers, the Biologics for Children with Rheumatic Diseases Study (BCRD), and the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology Etanercept Cohort Study (BSPAR-ETN).
I completed my BSc(Hons) in BioVeterinary Science at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. Following 15 months as a laboratory assistant for Pfizer Animal Health, I returned to the University of London and completed a MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology. I worked as a research assistant in the Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health Group at the Royal Veterinary College before moving to the Centre for Epidemiology Versus Arthritis at The University of Manchester as a research assistant. After seven years in this role, I completed my PhD by Publication titled "Real-world effectiveness of biologic therapies in children and adults with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in the United Kingdom", and was promoted to research associate.
