Biography
I began my career as a State Enrolled Nurse and later qualified as a Registered General Nurse. I have worked mainly in acute medical specialiaties including cardiac and respiratory medicine. More recently, I have worked as a Lecturer in a number of universities teaching health professionals across undergraduate and post-graduate programmes of study.
Social responsibility
I am the Disability Champion for the Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) and Bachelor of Midwifery (Hons) programmes. My role involves developing resources for academic staff to support their students who are in need of Disability and Student Support at unioversity and practitioners in clinical practice
I also work as a volunteer at Burnage Foodbank
