I am a Lecturer in Law (Public Law & Human Rights). I am the Course Director for Public Law and the Course Director for Human Rights. I also teach Constitutional Reform. In addition, I am Co-Social Responsibility Coordinator for the Law School.

My research focuses on Human Rights, in particular I focus on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

I hold a first-class honours degree from Lancaster University (2016) and won the prize for best undergraduate Law dissertation.

Following this, I continued my studies at the University of Lancaster and completed an LLM in International Human Rights Law (2017). During my LLM I worked as a Research Assistant and I co-organised an expert level knowledge exchange symposium. I graduated top of the LLM cohort with a distinction, the dissertation prize, and an award for 'outstanding contributions to the postgraduate community of the Law School'.

I was awarded Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funding to undertake a PhD in Law which I commenced at Lancaster University in October 2017. Alongside working as an Associate Lecturer teaching a range of modules, I was a Research Assistant on a variety of projects,  attained Associate Fellowship of Advance HE and was an Assistant Dean in Grizedale College.

In August 2020, I submitted my thesis in less than three years passing with minor corrections, and in September 2020 commenced my first full time post as a Lecturer in Law at Coventry University. I joined the University of Manchester as a Lecturer in Public Law and Human Rights in September 2021. In January 2022 I was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education (PGCAP-HE) and I attained Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA).
