Research Associate

Biography
Dr Wood graduated from The University of Manchester in 2012 with a BSc (Honours) in Genetics with Industrial Experience and in 2013 with a MRes in Translational Medicine. He then undertook his DPhil in Clinical Neuroscience at Oxford University, under the supervision of Professor Robert Maclaren. His doctoral research focussed on using recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors in a gene therapy strategy to treat autosomal recessive bestrophinopathy (ARB), an inherited retinal degeneration.
