Overview

Nikola Milošević has undergraduate and master degree from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Univeristy of Belgrade with focus on computer science. He has about 4 years of industrial experience, working in various industries (Banking, SaaS, Telco) before returning to academia for a PhD degree in text mining at the University of Manchester. His PhD was focusing on information extraction from tables in biomedical literature. After a PhD, he started working on a post-doc possition at Manchester Institute of Innovation Research, Alliance Manchester Business School on KNOWMAK project. Nikola's part of the KNOWMAK project focuses on developing a database of social innovation using web crawling, machine learning, information extraction and other text mining techniques. 

 At the moment, Nikola is a Research associate at the School of Computer Science and he is associate member of Manchester Institute of Innovation research.
