Dr Mohammed is an Information Systems professional and Systems thinking expert. He has obtained his PhD from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. His area of research is Information Systems and Systems development, he has been involved in various successful IS research Projects. His research and teaching interests lies in ICT/IS developments, Cloud Computing, and Emerging Technologies in Organisations.
Mohammed has an emerging profile in the areas of Cloud Computing, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Virtual learning systems. He recently, published in the journal of Small Business Innovation, and the British Academy of Management Proceedings. He is currently investigating the area of cloud education, including different technical, organizational, and political issues associated with its adoption.
Dr Mohammed also engages in a GTA role at Manchester University, where he taught several subjects, including case studies in management, database management and qualitative research methods for both Under and postgraduate levels.
Dr Mohammed's area of expertise is emerging ICTs, Cloud Computing, Enterprise innovations and virtual learning systems. Mohammed is currently developing a research that involves building a strong case for a cloud-driven ICT to support a variety of doctoral activities, such as teaching and research activities.
Dr Mohammed has also been a consultant for PGR stuents throughout his role as a PGR student rep, which involved responding to student enquiries and giving advice on a range of student-related issues by engaging and collaborating with PGR committee meetings.
