Marianne's main research focus is on the application of nonlinear time series models to macroeconomic problems. These include: the study of regional business cycles in the UK; investigating agglomeration economies across European city regions; and forming a better understanding of the international transmission of structrual breaks and volatilty in inflation and growth.
Current research projects:
