Research Interest

I joined CCSR at the University of Manchester in January 2012 to work on the fRaill (Frailty, Resilience And Inequality in Later Life) Project. As a geneticist, my role is to investigate genetic influences on later life mental health and wellbeing. I obtained my PhD degree at the University of Manchester in 2011, my thesis examined the genetic vulnerability of depression and related phenotypes.
 My research interests include the genetics of mental health phenotypes; gene-environment interactions; and gene-metabolite-phenotype pathways.
