Jenny Rodriguez is Senior Lecturer in Employment Studies at Manchester Business School. Prior to joining Manchester, she worked at the Dept of HRM at the University of Strathclyde Business School and at Newcastle University Business School. Her research focuses on intersectional inequality in work and organisations, and the interplay between identity, work and regulation. She is particularly interested in the transnational experiences of skilled migrant women.
Dr Rodriguez is Associate Editor of Gender, Work and Organization, and member of the Editorial Review Board of Gender in Management: An International Journal. She is Chair of the Manchester Industrial Relations Society (MIRS), Chair of the Gender in Management Special Interest Group of the British Academy of Management (BAM), and founding covenor of the Equality and Diveristy in Work and Employment Study Group of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association (BUIRA). She is also a member of the ESRC Peer Review College and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
