Research interests
He has been one of the UK's most active researchers in the field of bullying and harassment for a decade and has written, edited or contributed to a number of books, book chapters, academic articles and commissioned reports. Among his publications are "Workplace bullying: What we know, who is to blame and what can we do" (with Rayner & Cooper) and "Bullying and emotional abuse in the workplace: International perspectives on research and practice" (co-edited with Einarsen, Zapf and Cooper). He has also written or co-produced several reports for the International Labour Office (ILO, Geneva) and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Working and Living Conditions on issues related to stress, violence and harassment. Together with other colleagues at the Manchester Business School he is actively involved in developing multi-disciplinary research within the area of 'harassment and bullying' and 'wellbeing and dignity at work'.
