Research interests

My research centres on individual differences and covers three main areas: (i) theoretical nature and measurement of individual differences, (ii) the role of individual differences in workplace performance and creativity, and (iii) individual differences in impulsive, deviant, and unethical behaviour. My research typcially combines state of the art psychometric tools and statistical methods to address theoretically substantive applied psychological issues.   • Personality dynamics and development
  • Personality and employee selection
  • Personality and financial behaviour
  • The theory, structure, and measurement of impulsivity-related traits
  • Dark traits in the workplace
  • Creativity
  • The theory and measurement of affect-related individual differences (emotional intelligence, affect-related personality traits, emotion regulation)
  • Psychology of social media, especially organisational applications (e.g. Linkedin as a recruitment tool)
