Current Research Projects:
Carolyn has recently begun research into the role that regulatory surrogates (including consumers, NGOs, financial institutions and the regulatory community) play in the development and enforcement of regulatory norms, specifically environmental regulation. She is curently drafting a paper on the role of surrogates in the regulation of new technology.
Carolyn is willing to supervise both MPhil and PhD students who wish to undertake research in the field of environmental law. She is happy to discuss any research proposals before formal submission.
