Bipasha Choudhury (B.Sc. Medical Science University of St. Andrews 2000; M.B.Ch.B University of Manchester 2003; MSc Medical Education University of Manchester 2013; PhD Medical Education University of Manchester 2017).
Bipasha is a GMC registered doctor and has worked in many hospitals in the Northwest in different specialities including acute medicine, colorectal surgery and orthopaedics. She is a lecturer in anatomy and teaches topographical anatomy to a wide range of students. She is a person designated under the Human Tissues Act 2004.
Bip co-ordinates lectures and practicals on functional anatomy for optometrists and second year life scientists. She teaches anatomy and histology across many degree programmes (medicine, dentistry, optometry, midwifery, life sciences). She is the the faculty lead for life sciences for year 1 midwifery students.
She is meetings secretary for the British Association of Clinical Anatomists and a member of the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland. She published a children's anatomy book in September 2017.
