Biography
I obtained my MA and PhD in history of science, technology and medicine at the University of Manchester. Then, I did a post-doctoral research at the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Manchester (2004-8), and then a research and teaching associate at the Department of East Asian Studies at Cambridge University and the Needham Research Institute (2008-9) before arriving at Manchester in 2009. At Manchester, I was first a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow, and from 2015, I am in the current position.
