I received my Ph.D in Automatic Control from the University of Sannio. During my Ph.D I spent one year at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, working on the research project "Use of weather and occupancy forecasts for optimal building climate control (OptiControl)". As a Post Doc within the Group for Research on Automatic Control Engineering (GRACE), University of Sannio, I worked on optimization and control of energy systems, in particular microgrids and energy hubs. I was Post Doc Research fellow within the Automatic Control Laboratory at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden.
Currently I am a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Manchester, UK. My research interests include the areas of manufacturing system simulation and scheduling, optimization of energy systems and stochastic constrained control.
