On Cohesion: Could Religious Tradition be the Antidote to Fundamentalism?

Abstract
A reflection on why a broadly based teaching within a religious sacred scripture tradition can in certain cases promote the tolerance of other viewpoints, and thus contribute rather than undermine social cohesion.
