Introduction: Why now is an important time to consider history
Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Chapter › peer-review
Abstract
This Policy History report reflects on historical analyses of the developments in British science policy over the last 100 years, in order to identify insights, trends, and implications for policymakers today. The report asks what lessons this might have for our understanding of the relationship between science policy and industrial strategy, which has become increasingly significant with the UK government’s publication of its Industrial Strategy in 2017.
