Highly commended by the UoM Making A Difference Award for The Make Do and Mend Expo in June 2017. This event brought together 70 delegates, including third sector organisations, policymakers, academics and members of the public, interested in community forms of provision. It involved a day of presentations, workshops and activities about the environmental and financial benefits of ‘being thrifty’ and potential of alternative provisioning models.
