School of Law

Overview

The School of Law is part of The University of Manchester and sits in one of the most important legal cities in the UK.

We are committed to providing internationally recognised education as well as a stimulating environment for research and business collaborations.

Our staff have one of the broadest ranges of specialisms of any UK law school, spanning law, criminology, ethics and healthcare, and many have links with overseas organisations. Such a network means we offer a rich student experience to those who study with us, as well as contributing to legal and societal issues worldwide.

Through our active engagement and knowledge exchange with policy-makers, legislators, NGOs and activists working in a diverse range of fields and sectors, our research shapes law, policy, and social change.
