The Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) was formed in 2006 as a partnership between The University of Manchester, Cancer Research UK and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
The Centre is a unique collaboration that brings together the expertise, vision and resources of its partner organisations, all of which have formidable individual reputations in the field of cancer research.
Uniting researchers working across Greater Manchester, the Centre offers an integrated approach essential to progress. Building on Manchester’s strong cancer research heritage, the MCRC provides outstanding facilities and infrastructure - allowing scientists, doctors and nurses to work closely together.
