Overview

I am currently a Research Associate with the Health Policy, Organisation and Economics (HOPE) research group in the Centre for Primary Care, Division of Population Health.  I have worked on several projects which have taken an ethnographic/qualitative approach to exploring the effect of Health Policy interactions with health services in practice, particularly at the primary care level including:  

  • Exploring the development of Clinical Commissioning Groups:  Understanding primary care co-commissioning - uptake, development and impacts 
  • Exploring the transition of Public Health to Local Authority control in 2013 through the PHOENIX project: Public Health and Obesity in England - the New Infrastructure EXamined
  • Completion of a rapid evidence review for the Department of Health examining the evidence for moving services out of hospital and into the community.
