Overview

Biography

After graduating from Aston I joined a research and development company, working mainly on systems engineering and human factors projects.  I then trained in occupational psychology and carried out doctoral and postdoctoral research in patient safety.  After some time in industry as a human factors consultant, I returned to health services research in Manchester Pharmacy School and the NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Translational Research Centre.  When Manchester Pharmacy School became part of the School of Health Sciences in 2016 I took up a post there as Lecturer in Patient Safety.
