Biography

Dr. Reta received his BSc in Chemistry from the University of Navarra in 2011. He then went to the University of Barcelona where he obtained a MSc in Nanosciene and Nanotechnology and a P.h.D in theoretical and computational chemistry in 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Francesc Illas and Prof. Iberio de P. R. Moreira. That same year he joined the University of Manchester as a PDRA working with Prof. Nik Kaltsoyannis and since 2017 is working with Dr. Chilton in collaboration with Profs. Winpenny, McInnes, Liddle and Dr. Mills. His work focusses on the investigation and theoretical modelling of highly axial single molecule magnets and the processes that govern their magnetic relaxation.
