Overview

Damian Arellanes is a PhD candidate at the School of Computer Science from the University of Manchester. He obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV), Mexico, after completiing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico. His current research is focused on the development of an algebraic service model for tackling the scale of the Internet of Things (IoT). He has published research papers in international top conferences on IoT. Furthermore, Damian has over four years of experience in commercial software development. He has successsfully commercialised three innovation software with copyrights while he was working as a software engineer consultant, and developed  several IT solutions as a full-stack software engineering at IBM.
