Christopher Beach is a PhD research student with Dr. Alexander J. Casson in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on developing wearable medical electronic devices, focusing on creating a wearable insole device to monitor the development of diabetic foot ulcers. His research interests include health wearables, flexible sensors, low power sensing and energy harvesting. The goal of his project is to make devices that work for a range of different physical and mental health impairments for all of society.
