Dr Gus Cheng Zhang

Biography
Cheng Zhang (S’13–M’16) was born in China, in 1990. He received the B.Eng. degree (first class Hons.) in electronic and communication engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2016. He was a senior research assistant in the department of electrical and electronic engineering, the University of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2017. He worked as a post-doctoral research associate in the research laboratory of electronics (RLE) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2018.
His current research interests include high switching frequency power converters and designs and optimizations for wireless power transfer applications.
