My research interest is in modelling of soft matter including polymers and liquid crystals.

I completed my PhD at the University of York in 2013 on confined nematic systems before moving to the University of Boras in Sweden as a researcher investigating mechanisms of polymeric activation. In 2016-2017 I was a PDRA at the University of Cambridge as part of the International Centre for Advanced Materials (ICAM).

I joined the University of Manchester in 2018 to work with Dr Paola Carbone as part of the Centre in Advanced Fluid Engineering for Digital Manufacturing (CAF4DM).

  • PhD from the University of York entitiled "Monte Carlo simulations of confined nematic systems"
  • Masters in Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Oxford
