Ceri joined the University of Manchester in 2016 as a Research Associate. She works in the Inclusive Growth Analysis Unit, a new research and policy analysis team which will contribute to the work of the Manchester Urban Institute.

Ceri was previously a researcher at the New Policy Institute and the Work Foundation, part of Lancaster University. She has undetaken quantitative and qualitative research on the drivers of poverty and labour market disadvantage, and the impacts of social security reforms. She has produced research for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Trust for London and the Scottish Government.

Ceri has previously lead research projects on youth labour market transitions and ethnic disparities in labour market outcomes. She has an honours degree in English from Oxford University and an Msc in Social Science Research Methods from Cardiff University.
