I am currently an EPSRC doctoral prize fellow investigating tisue engineering strategies to maximise the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem celll-derived exosomes. In September 2018 I completed my PhD on the EPSRC and MRC Centre of Doctoral Training in Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester. My project investigated the role of mesenchymal stem cell secretome in promoting recovery after ischaemic stroke. I previously graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an MBChB in Medicine and an interacalated BSc (1st class) in Neuroscience with Psychology.
