Overview

I completed my PhD in 2018 and am currently a lecturer in international politics at the University of Manchester. In my PhD thesis I looked at the post-2008 legitimation of finance and the rebuilding of the asset-securitisation market in Europe. I am currently teaching two MA modules: the politics of money and finance; and global governance.

My teaching and research interests include: global political economy, the politics of finance, banking and debt, European politics and feminist political economy.

I was a visiting scholar at the Cosmopolis Centre for Urban Research at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium (March-May 2017), and previously worked for the civil society organisation Finance Watch.
