Biography

Caroline Gardner joined the University in 2003 to work as part of the self-management team recruiting patients for the National Evaluation of the Expert Patients Programme. In addition to recruitment and administration she was also involved in managing data entry for the study and went on to work on a number of associated studies including the role of volunteer tutors, piloting a Discrete Choice Experiment and analysis of data from the online discussion boards from the pilot study of EPP online. The experience gained working with the self management team led to her involvement in the design and implementation of the WISE study and for the responsibility of the day to day management of the trial. 

Caroline is currently working on the 3D Study and BARACK-D RCT.

Qualifications

BSc Hons degree in Social Sciences with Geography & Politics from the Open University.
