Overview

I’m a Clinical Lecturer at the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research, and Deputy Academic Lead for Assessment at Manchester Medical School. I’m also a practising GP and a Registered Health Psychologist. My research interests include the application of digital technology and psychological theory to the development of health behaviour change interventions for the primary care setting.

Biography

After qualifying with a BSSc in Psychology from Queen's University Belfast, I completed a PhD at the University of Leeds and worked there as a Research Fellow before studying Medicine at the University of Leeds. I completed my academic foundation training in York and was a NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow at the University of Sheffield during my GP training.
