Dr Boyan Lazarov

Boyan Lazarov received a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 2003. He joined MACE after several years as an industrial consultant, visiting and faculty research positions in the US, UK, Germany, and   Denmark. Boyan's research interests encompass the fields of computational and experimental mechanics, high-performance computing, and multiphysics modeling and simulations. His work focuses on the integration of modern computational techniques in the design and the optimization of devices and materials taking into account manufacturability, material and exploitation uncertainties. He has published more than 40 journal articles in international journals within the field of topological design.
