Mr Biranche Tandon

Overview

Biranche joined the University of Manchester (UoM) in September 2016 as PhD student in the Biomaterials group. He secured the Commonwealth scholarship award to fund his PhD studies. He is supervised by Prof Sarah Cartmell and co-supervised by Dr Jonny Blaker. Biranche's current research involves exploring the use of pieozelectric materials for bone repair application. 

Biranche obtained his bachelor's in Bioengineering (Bachelor of Technology) and master's in Biomedical technology as integrated dual degree course from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras HIndu University) (IIT(BHU)) in Varanasi, India.
