Overview

My main research interests are in education leadership, school structures and critical policy studies. I am interested in network ethnography in investigating the interplay between agency, power and structure. I use Arendtian thinking to help me understand and interpret my research. For my PhD I researched leadership practices within a multi-academy trust in England. I am currently a Senior Tutor within MIE and teach on the Education Leadership Masters programme. Previously I have worked in schools as a senior leader both in Hong Kong and in the UK.
