I am a post-doctoral research associate, working in Prof. van Herk’s group at the University of Manchester based at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust. My current project is to identify lung cancer patients that are at high risk of cardiac toxicity following thoracic radiotherapy by utilizing data-mining approaches.

I am interested in big data analysis and particularly interested in treatment related heamatological toxicity in patients with thoracic cancers. A data-mining study aimed to identify an immune system region, when receiving a high dose, is associated with the incidence of lymphopenia (a drop in a subtype of white blood cells) has been presented as the highest scoring abstract under the physics track in ESTRO2019.
