Biography
Arjan Keizer took his PhD in economics at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. As part of the Japan Prizewinners' Programme, he spent half a year at various sections of Canon Inc in Japan. He then returned to the Erasmus University to work at the Rotterdam Institute of Modern Asian Studies (RIMAS) where he taught on various aspects of the economies of Asia. He has also spent one-and-a-half years as a research fellow at Hitotsubashi University and a period as visiting researcher at the Japan Institute for Labour Policy and Training. After several years at the Bradford University School of Management, he joined Manchester Business School in 2010.
