Anne Marie joined the Medical School in 1975, to work in the isotope research laboratories in the department of Medical Biophysics (now Imaging Science).
Her contribution to research projects started to be recognized in the form of co-authorship in 1982 and has continued ever since. Her enthusiasm for Research prompted her to register for an MSc degree (research), which she successfully completed in 1997. Anne-Marie has 49 Publications to date in various scientific journals. In addition, she has attended numerous national and international conferences in her research area. Anne-Marie’s contribution to teaching and research earned her an academic role as a Lecturer in Manchester Medical School (MMS). She is an Associate Fellow in the Higher Education Academy and is co-director of two very successful courses where she provides leadership and management for the delivery of both courses. She recently took on the role of SWAPS Tutor for Years 1 & 2 of the MBChB programme.
