Dr Anna Hughes
Lecturer in Physical Geography

Overview
I am interested in ice sheets and glaciers, and their interaction with climate. I use traces left behind in the landscape to reconstruct the size, movement and dynamics of former ice masses. I joined The University of Manchester in January 2019 as a Lecturer in Physical Geography, specialising in palaeoglaciology, Geographic Information Systems and remote sensing.
