Biography

Having graduated from the University of Manchester in 1989 I took employment with North West NHS spending seven years engaged in and managing a number of research and monitoring initiatives, focussed on the emerging harm reduction policies in relation to drug misuse.

Since 1996 I have been employed by the National Drug Evidence Centre (formally Drug Misuse Research Unit) engaged in research and monitoring activities in relation to local (North West) and national drug policies.

I was coordinator of the Home Office funded national Drug Treatment Outcomes Reseearch Project (DTORS)
