PhD Clinical Psychology - to examine the social network characteristics of Black African and Caribbean people with psychosis, who have historically poor engagement with services, higher rates of psychosis, and worse outcomes than other ethnic groups in the UK. Examining factors associated with service engagement in this group, including social networks, internalised stigma, racial/ethnic discrimination and beliefs about mental illness.
