I am a PhD student in School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering (MACE) at The University of Manchester. My background is in Mechanical Engineering by emphasis on Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran in 2011 and 2014 respectively. I worked for around three years as a Research Fellow in the CFD Lab at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad under supervision of Prof. Hamid Niazmand. In 2017, I was admitted to a PhD program in Mechanical Engineering in MACE at the University of Manchester. Furthermore, I succeeded to get a prestigious President’s Doctoral Scholarship (PDS) award for doing my PhD. I started my PhD in Manchester from Sept. 2017.

My research interests are in the area of Biofluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Biomedical Engineering. Currently I'm a member of Manchester CFD Team and working as a PhD student under supervision of Dr. Amir Keshmiri and co-supervison of Dr. Alistair Revell and Dr. Christopher Miller.
