I am a first-year PhD student in Linguistics. My PhD investigates relativising strategies in Reunion Creole, a French-based creole spoken on Reunion Island. My interest in this language was sparked by a 5-month residence abroad period there in 2017.
Alongside my PhD project, I am the lab assistant for the Psycholinguistics Lab. I am also a Widening Participation Fellow for the Faculty of Humanities, which involves developing and delivering workshops in local schools to encourage and inspire students to consider higher education.
