Overview
Alex graduated with PhD in Pharmaceutics from University College London in 2018. His PhD research focussed on the development of the hyphenated technique of synchrotron X-Ray diffraction with differential scanning calorimetry and its utilisation in the study of phase transitions, polymorphism and co-crystallisation in pharmaceutical materials. Following this he was involved in a research project at UCL, involving the development of two different dosage forms of a highly water soluble compound for the treatment of mitochondrial disease.
He is currently involved in the microfluidic development of lipid-based nanoparticulate and microparticulate injectable depot systems for controlled drug release.
