Alessia Isopi  received her undergraduate degree in Economics from LUISS "Guido Carli" University in Rome (Italy) and has a Ph.D from the Università di Roma "Tor Vergata".  After completing her Ph.D she joined the University of Nottingham in 2008 as Marie Curie Intra European Post Doc Research Fellow and since 2011 is Lecturer in Economics at the University of Manchester. Her research interests are in Development Economics, Asymmetries in Information and Experimental Economics. She is currently teaching Development Economics in the second year undergraduate and Development Microeconomics at postgraduate level.
