Overview

In 2015 I have been awarded with a Ph.D. in Italian Studies at the University of Cambridge, defending a dissertation on the reception of psychoanalysis in post-1945 Italian literature and culture.
I have written on Italian modern and contemporary literature, cinema, and the intersection between psychoanalysis, ideology and political commitment in the country. My publications include essays on Italo Calvino, Alberto Moravia, Giorgio Manganelli, and the Italian psychoanalyst Elvio Fachinelli.
